Phenotype: antibiotic resistant (chloramphenicol)
This mutant is resistant to chloramphenicol. Sequencing in the Boynton-Gillham laboratory in 1989 showed that this mutation is a change in the RIB1 region of the 23S chloroplast ribosomal RNA.
