Strain B6-F (cehc1 pf14::pHYDA1-PF14 mt+) was selected from MMS mutagenesis of strain SP0106 B6 (CC-4507). It has a constitutive swimming phenotype in aerobic conditions. The mutation chc1 affects expression of hydrogenase genes and copper responsive genes.
