CC-2289 lf3-2 mt-
$30.00
From P.A. Lefebvre, University of Minnesota, August 1988
Phenotype: impaired motility
When grown without aeration, cultures of lf3-2 strains show about 30-80% cells with long flagella and less than 15% with stumpy flagella.
This mutant was isolated by Lefebvre and colleagues in a derivative of strain 137C, ‘NO’ mt+, also known as ‘R3 NM’ mt+ (CC-620); this mutant was originally designated WH9.
