Phenotype: requires acetate

This strain replaces CC-741 FUD7 mt+, which has been widely used as a recipient for chloroplast transformation. This is a deletion mutation spanning the psbA gene, and it can be rescued by chloroplast DNA clones containing the wild type gene.
