This strain, which carries the agg1, nit1 and nit2 alleles, was obtained from a cross of CC-124 x CC-125, followed by a series of 10 backcrosses to CC-124, carried out for three months beginning in December 2010. It has greater than 99% viability out of meiosis, and it mates out of low sulfate plates and M-N/5 after 2 hours.
