This strain contains the lcib mutant allele and another suppressor gene mutation that hasnÍt been identified yet. Insertional mutagenesis was performed in CC-1860 pmp1 to get this suppressor that can recover the growth of pmp1 at air level of CO2 (350ppm). The pmp1-su5 was crossed to CC-4156 ad1-1 to get ad-su5.
