CC-4561 tla3- cpsrp43 (CW+) mt+
$30.00
From Tasios Melis, University of California, Berkeley, January 2013
Phenotype: somewhat chlorophyll deficient
This strain does not grow photo-autotrophically in low light, as it has a small Chl antenna size. The tla3 phenotype may gradually be diluted with time (years) in cultivation (suppressor mutations?) but can be rescued upon crossing with a wild type, selecting for tla3. It was derived from the original tla3 upon crossing with 4A+ three times and with CC-124 once.
