This is the amc5 strain complemented with the NUOB10-FLAG gene encoding C91S substitution.

Mutagenesis of amc5 with cosmid plasmid pRS426 containing the NUOB10 gene encoding the C91S substitution with a C-terminal FLAG tag and APHVII selection marker. It is paromomycin and hygromycin B resistant.

This strain should be maintained in low-medium light conditions (max. 50 Âµmol.m-2.s-1) and media should contain arginine. Do not maintain in the dark as it is respiratory-deficient.
