Genotype: mt-; arg7-8; nuo5::APHVII
This strain was created by mutagenesis of 4C- with a cassette containing the APHVII transgene from pHyg3. The APHVII transgene disrupts exon 2 of NUO5 gene Cre10.g450400. It is a mitochondrial complex I-deficient strain and is hygromycin resistant.
It should be maintained in low-medium light conditions (max. 50 µmol.m-2.s-1) and media should contain arginine. Do not maintain in the dark as it is respiratory-deficient.
