Phenotype: impaired motility
The pf15 mutant was isolated by Lewin. pf15a was a clone of the original mutant that grew better and showed cleaner 2:2 segregation. pf15b was an allelic mutation isolated by Warr et al. All the pf15 isolates currently in our collection are probably the pf15a clone.
