Phenotype: requires arginine

The arg7-2 mutation was induced by Loppes using ethyl methanesulfonate.

This allele can complement with the original arg7, arg7-5, arg7-8 (aka arg2), and arg7-13. It cannot complement with arg7-3, arg7-4, arg7-7 or arg7-12. It seems to be stable in culture.
