CC-1997 arg4 mt+

From Rene Matagne, University of Liege, May 1986
Mutants at the ARG4 locus are deficient in ornithine carbamoyltransferase. However, this strain currently does not show a clean arginine requirement and needs to be outcrossed to recover the original mutation if possible. This is the original arg4 mutant, UV-induced in Levine’s lab.
