This is a UV-sensitive mutant isolated by Rosen and Ebersold after mutagenesis with ICR-170. It was tentatively mapped to linkage group VI, but not placed precisely on that linkage group. It shows reduced recombination frequency in crosses, and appears to be deficient in recombination repair.
