First Batch of CLiP Mutants Now Available!

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your support of the Chlamy Mutant Library project!

We are pleased to announce that the first batch of ~1,900 mutants are now available at the Chlamydomonas Resource Center. Strains can be searched and ordered at this website: https://www.chlamylibrary.org/.

A manuscript describing this collection has been provisionally accepted and should be coming out online in the near future at The Plant Cell. We are working to make tens of thousands of additional strains available in the coming months, so please stay tuned.

Please beware that only ~75% of the insertions are correctly mapped, so they must be verified by PCR!!! Please see the FAQ on the website and direct questions to Matt Laudon, chlamy@umn.edu.
