Genotype: mt-; arg7-8; nuo5::APHVII; NUO5-FLAG; APHVIII
This is the amc9 strain complemented with the wild-type NUO5 gene with a C-terminal FLAG tag. It was created by mutagenesis of amc9 with plasmid pRS426 containing the wild-type NUO5 gene with a C-terminal FLAG tag and APHVII selection marker. It is paromomycin and hygromycin B resistant.
It should be maintained in low-medium light conditions (max. 50 µmol.m-2.s-1) and media should contain arginine.
