Three plant biology postdoc positions in the newly founded Westlake Institute for Advanced Study

Dr. Xiaobo Li’s Lab at the Westlake Institute for Advanced Study (Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China) has three postdoc positions to start during 2018. One of them can be a senior research associate position if the incumbent already had postdoc working experience.

The lab’s research interests include photosynthesis, abiotic stresses, plastid evolution, and systems and synthetic biology of algae. For details, please visit:

A Ph.D. in molecular biology or plant biology is required. Experience with protein interactions, protein phosphorylation, confocal microscopy, photosynthesis research, and algal research will be a plus. Besides a competitive package for living in the Yangtze River Delta in Eastern China, the lab aims to provide a nurturing environment to help young scientists develop into independent researchers.
